Prof Wallace is a Centennial Professor in the European Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science and an Honorary Professor at the University of Sussex. She holds various advisory appointments. From 2001 to 2006 she was Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Florence.
Previously she was Director of the ESRC "One Europe or Several?" Programme, and held posts at the Sussex European Institute, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, and the College of Europe. She has written extensively on the politics of European integration. Recent books include:
