The Hon. Sara Morrison, FRSA, has had a wide-ranging and extensive career both in business and public service.

As a one-time Tory politician Sara worked for the Conservative Party Association between 1971 and 1975. She joined the General Electric Company in 1975, and was a Director from 1980 until March 1988. She has held non-executive directorships of organizations including Carlton Television, the New Millennium Experience Company Ltd. and Abbey National plc, and was Chairman of WWF UK from 1998 to 2002.

From 1986 to 2001 she served on the governing body of Imperial College, London, and in 2004 took up the post of Chair of Council for the University of Bath, where she serves on a number of committees. She holds honorary degrees from De Montfort University and the Universities of Coventry and Buckingham.

She has long-standing involvement with community and voluntary organizations in Wiltshire, where she lives on and runs a farm.
