Advisory Board
HEPI's work is guided by its Advisory Board. The Board meets four times a year to discuss HEPI's programme of work (what studies to undertake, what seminars and other events to run, etc) and administrative matters. Unlike the Trustees, their role is not to take decisions, only to give advice to the Director.
The Board includes distinguished academics, current and former vice-chancellors, and, ex officio, the Chief Executive of HEFCE and the President of Universities UK.
Membership of the Board is for a fixed term period of usually four years, with two or three Board members stepping down each September. New appointments are made by the Trustees; interested parties should write to the Trustees c/o HEPI's Administrator, Jean Harrison. There are currently no vacancies until September 2012.
