HEPI is pleased to announce that its Director, Bahram Bekhradnia, has been appointed Special Adviser to the House of Commons Select Committee on Innovation, Universities and Skills.  He will be working on their inquiry into students and universities.

Parliament announced the inquiry in October.  The committee will report on admissions, the balance between teaching and research, degree completion and classification and mechanisms of student support and engagement.  Bahram will provide advice as a specialist in the HE field.  His role will include briefing the MPs, attending evidence sessions and assisting the Committee as it draws together its final report.
