Hosted by London Metropolitan University, the 2020 HEPI University Partners’ Policy Briefing Day provides an opportunity for colleagues within our partner institutions to come together to discuss the key issues that dominate the higher education agenda, with the HEPI team and guest speakers providing expert policy advice and guidance on:
- What will be the key issues for higher education in the 2020s?
- How can universities become more diverse?
- What should universities do to improve their image?
Speakers include: Professor Tim Blackman, Vice-Chancellor, The Open University; Sian Griffiths, Education Editor at the Sunday Times; Lucian Hudson, Former Director of Communications at the University of Oxford; Alison Kershaw, Education Correspondence at the Press Association; Professor Andrea Nolan, Principal and Vice-Chancellor at Edinburgh Napier University; Lee Elliot Major, Professor of Social Mobility at the University of Exeter; Jonathan Simons, Director, Public First; Hannah Sketchley, Policy Officer, National Union of Students.
