Professor Dame Helen Wallace CMG FBA

Professor Dame Helen Wallace CMG FBAProf Wallace is an Honorary Professor at the University of Sussex. She is a Board member of the British Library, has served as Foreign Secretary of the British Academy (2011-2015) and holds various advisory appointments. From 2001 to 2006 she was Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Florence.

Previously she was Director of the ESRC ‘One Europe or Several?’ Programme, and held posts at the Sussex European Institute, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, and the College of Europe. She has written extensively on the politics of European integration. Her recent books include:
