Dr Ruth Thompson Commemorative Lecture, Wednesday 25^th October 2017, 6pm at Birkbeck

On Wednesday, 25^th October 2017 HEPI and Birkbeck will be holding a Lecture to commemorate the life of Dr Ruth Thompson. Professor Claire Callender and Baroness Wolf of Dulwich will be in conversation to discuss the future of higher education.

Dr Thompson had a career as a civil servant in the Treasury and later in education policy, and served as a Governor of Birkbeck and as a Trustee of HEPI.

Please join us for what will be a fascinating insight into the policymaking process and to reflect on the enormous contribution Ruth made as a civil servant and as a trustee and governor.
