At the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI), we aim to:

Promote research into and understanding of all aspects of higher education and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the education and benefit of policy makers and the general public in the United Kingdom.

Your insights will help shape how we approach the national conversation on higher education, and support our colleagues across the higher education sector.

Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey – your views are invaluable and will directly inform our future work. It only takes a moment, but it makes a big difference.

You can access the survey here.

By completing this survey, you will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win £150 for the charity of your choice.

Many thanks for your time.

I am interested in the demographic patterns and the varied policy responses of host countries to the fusion and confusion twixt immigration and international student policies. Immigration serves nation building ambitions in advanced countries especially where younger people are in demand. Increased enrolments of international students are vital to the makeup of campus numbers and to the finances of universities and colleges – in some cases essential to the viability of institutions and courses. Policy responses vary but strategies to increase nation building if extended to attract enrolments onto campuses can lead to perceptions of overcrowding and short term tightening of recruitment responses. How can a happy balance be struck or should we insist on tighter distinctions between two separate pathways?

Hi Rohit, I’m sorry that the form isn’t working for you. It does seem to be working for others. Could you perhaps try a different browser?
