Roundtable dinner on supporting financially challenged universities

Location:
London
Format:
In-person

It is no secret that higher education institutions across the UK are under severe financial strain. Systemic financial challenges have restrained universities’ ability to generate income, high inflation has affected the value of tuition fees in real terms and the sector’s heavy reliance on international fees to cross-subsidise domestic undergraduates is taking its toll. There is no shortage of alternative funding proposals from across the sector, although we are yet to learn what the new Labour government’s long-term approach to higher education funding might be.

On Thursday 10 October 2024, HEPI, with support from Mills & Reeve, will host a roundtable dinner in London to explore how financially challenged institutions can be best supported.

Please note this dinner is invitation-only. For any queries, please contact Emma [email protected] or Carole [email protected]
