This report by HEPI and the National Union of Students, authored by Josh Freeman, uses data from the 2021 census to model the potential impact of student voters in the 2024 General Election. It finds that students hold the balance of power in 50 constituencies which are expected to be marginal in 2024. It also finds that there are 35 constituencies where students returning from their term-time addresses could make a significant difference. It concludes that the political parties should carefully consider the policy priorities of students to be successful in these areas.
