Professor Julie Sanders

Professor Julie Sanders is Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Royal Holloway University of London and was previously the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost at Newcastle University (2018-2022). She is a Professor of English Literature and Drama and co-edits a series for Oxford University Press and has served as a trustee for several cultural venues including Shakespeare’s Globe.
Julie has previously served on the Australian Research Council and has carried out research reviews in the UK, Sweden and Ireland. Julie is currently a board member for HEPI, Universities UK and London Higher.
