As part of HEPI’s work looking at the pipeline to higher education, we are hosting a webinar on the school curriculum and how well it prepares young people for life afterwards.
Featuring the authors of two recent / forthcoming HEPI reports on subject choice and preparation for higher education, Josh Freeman (HEPI) and Professor Peter Mandler from the University of Cambridge, as well as Professor Jackie Potter (the University of Chester’s Dean of Academic Innovation) and Leora Cruddas CBE (from the Confederation of School Trusts), the webinar will look at how well the current curriculum serves young people, with a backdrop of the Curriculum and Assessment Review currently being undertaken by Professor Becky Francis for the Government.
The event will include short presentations and opening remarks followed by a Q&A with the audience.
