Highlights of the 2015 HEPI University Partners’ Annual Policy Briefing Seminar will include:
- A presentation of the 2015 HEPI-HEA Student Academic Experience Survey, the largest annual survey of students’ working practices and views. The 2015 results will include new figures on the wellbeing of students as well as new data on how hard they are working and how they think their fees should be spent
- Keynote by Dr Anthony Seldon, incoming Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham, a leading thinker on the importance of wellbeing in education
- A panel discussion with former political advisers from across the political spectrum to consider the outcome of the general election and the potential impact on the higher education sector
- An expert policy session on differential fees. Should there be different fee caps for different disciplines? Should some institutions be allowed to charge more than others? What does experience abroad tell us?
